Use the fields below to refine your search in the electronic catalog.

🔍 Search Fields

➕AND Operator

The AND field means "both" – all selected criteria must be fulfilled simultaneously for a result to be displayed.

• Example: Search by: Title ("Dynamics") AND Author ("Ivanov") will show only books by Ivanov that contain the word "Dynamics" in the title.

🔀OR Operator

The OR field means "at least one of the two" – the result will contain titles that meet EITHER the first criterion OR the second OR both.

• Example: Search by: Title ("Dynamics") OR Author ("Ivanov") will show all books where the word ("Dynamics") appears in the title and all books where the author is ("Ivanov").

⛔AND NOT Operator

The AND NOT field means "the first, but not the second" – the result will contain titles that meet the first criterion but not the second.

• Example: Search by: Title ("Dynamics") AND NOT Author ("Ivanov") will show only books that contain the word "Dynamics" in the title, but the results will not include books where the author is Ivanov.

📅Publication Years

• You can set a start year ("From") and/or an end year ("To").
• To search only for titles published in one specific year, fill in the same year in both fields.
• To search only for titles published from a specific year to the present, fill in only the first field ("From").
• To search only for titles published up to a specific year, fill in only the second field ("To").
• The year filter is not applied if both fields ("From") and ("To") are empty.

⏱️Quick Filters

Use the quick filter buttons to limit results to documents published in the last 1, 3, 5, or 10 years.

🗂️Sorting

You can select a sorting criterion for the results from the dropdown menu "Sort from A to Z" or "Sort from Z to A".
